Richard Busch has been a photographer, editor, and writer for more than 40 years. His photographs have been published in LIFE magazine, LIFE’s special issue on Woodstock, National Geographic Traveler, Popular Photography, Esquire, the New York Times, McCalls, Huntington Hartford’s Show magazine, Ramparts, Newsday, the Miami Herald, several in-flights, and other publications.
Richard lives in a converted 180-year-old barn on a former dairy farm in Leesburg, Virginia, about 40 miles west of the nation’s capital, with his wife Olwen, five cats and a dog. He continues to take pictures, mainly using conventional black-and-white film, and makes prints in his basement darkroom.
